Hillcrest Health & Rehab provides skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care in a supportive environment focused on helping residents and guests feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

At Hillcrest, our mission is simple: Inspiring people to live their best lives. As a night-shift nurse, you will help bring that mission to life by providing excellent clinical care, steady leadership, and the reassurance residents and guests need throughout the night.

Monitor residents and guests closely for changes in condition.

Use strong clinical judgment to recognize concerns and determine appropriate next steps.

Respond to urgent needs and changing clinical situations throughout the night.

What We’re Looking For

Night shift needs nurses who are steady, observant, and confident in their clinical judgment.

We are looking for someone who can stay focused when the building gets quiet, recognize when something does not look right, and respond calmly when needs change unexpectedly.

The right candidate will be comfortable working independently while also serving as a dependable clinical resource for the rest of the overnight team.

Ideal candidates will have:

A compassionate and respectful approach to nursing care.

Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.

Confidence responding to changes in condition and urgent situations.

Strong medication-administration and treatment skills.

A team-first mentality and willingness to help wherever needed.

A genuine interest in caring for aging adults.

Education & Credentials

Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.

Current Nebraska RN or LPN license required.

Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, memory care, assisted living, hospital, or a similar setting preferred.

Basic Life Support/CPR certification required or must be obtained within Hillcrest’s established timeframe.

Why Hillcrest Health & Rehab?

When the rest of the building settles down, your role becomes even more important. You may be responding to a change in condition, reassuring a resident who cannot sleep, helping a team member navigate a clinical concern, or simply making sure residents and guests feel safe through the night.

Your judgment matters. Your presence matters. And being the calm, dependable person others can count on at 2:00 a.m. matters.

At Hillcrest Health & Rehab, you will be part of a team that values strong clinical care, communication, accountability, and supporting one another.
