About the Position
The Substitute RPW provides a range of services for individuals based on their needs, in their home and in their community. This includes but is not limited to personal care, domestic household services, personal appointments, medical appointments, vocational services, community activities, supervision within the home, and other tasks based upon their individual goals. Applicants with no experience and interested in entering the direct care field with a desire to serve people with disabilities are encouraged to apply to this position.

It is recommended that you reach out to the program manager to get an understanding of the program BEFORE you commit to applying for a job there. Once a transfer has been granted to you, the general rule is that you are NOT PERMITTED TO RESCIND. This is why it is critical that you familiarize yourself with the position you are applying for. If granted, you will be committing to the new position for a minimum of SIX MONTHS before you are eligible to request another transfer.
