About the job
Friends for Life is looking for AMAZING experienced, quality Caregivers who have a passion for serving others, and a desire to improve the quality of life of Seniors throughout our community to join our CARE TEAM !
We are hiring new team members with FULL OR PART-TIME availability to work with current and future Clients or assist with emergent coverage for Clients in LAKEWOOD, WHEAT RIDGE, LITTLETON, GOLDEN, HIGHLANDS RANCH .
We also have the option for Caregivers wanting more hours to work with other Clients. Experience with Senior Care and dementia/Alzheimer's Clients is needed.
Salary
- $20-24 / hour
- Bi-weekly
- On-Call Bonuses
Client Care varies by Client, but will include:
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Assistance with errands and shopping
- Bathing & showering
- Dressing and grooming (shaving with an electric razor, skin care, oral care, nail care)
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Assistance with toileting
- Encourage exercise, reminders for prescribed exercises
- Accompaniment to medical and dental appointments
- Protective oversight for safety, stand-by assistance*
- Dementia & Alzheimer's care
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience with hands-on Senior Care (i.e., Personal Care, Companion Care)
- Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
