WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist to help meet the growing demand of our hospital ist program at Franciscan Health Michigan City . This is a high performing, well-respected group with a great culture of teamwork.

WHAT WE NEED

Ideal candidate will have experience with inpatient care and Internal Medicine, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills. Provider will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to ensure delivery of the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Flexible full-time schedule
• Average inpatient volume: 8 patients per shift
• Call responsibility: responsible for call from the floor and emergency department during shift
• No call responsibility after hours
• Average number of admissions: 0 – 3 per shift
• Central line placement and intubation procedures experience preferred
• Open ICU
• Part of the Rapid Response Team
• Strong collegial support from Hospitalists, Nocturnal Hospitalist APP’s & Specialists

Qualifications

• Master's Degree - Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
