About the job
Help Kids Show the World How Awesome They Are
This is a pediatric SLP role with the full scope intact: evaluation, treatment planning, AAC, feeding, parent coaching, and every clinical judgment call that comes with them. DV Therapy is still owned by the speech pathologist who started it - Iddo deVries, MS CCC-SLP, who runs the speech program himself so the clinical expectations here were set by someone who has written the reports and sat with the families. You'll have SLPAs supporting your treatment load, which means your license gets spent on the work only you can do, not on a schedule padded to hit a number.
Why SLPs Choose DV Therapy
- $40.00 - $50.00 per hour - your base salary, with no bonus folded in to make the number look bigger
- DV Therapy = SLP Owned. Iddo deVries, MS CCC-SLP, founded DV Therapy, still owns it, and continues to help run the speech program with our ST Clinical Director. Our COO, Mariah Prentice, started here as an SLPA nearly ten years ago. Caseload and productivity decisions get made by people who have carried a caseload.
- SLPAs on your team. You're not running every artic session yourself. Your license goes to evals, planning, the complex kids, and the calls only you can make
- ABA and OT down the hall. Integrated pediatric teams in person, not referrals into a void. The feeding question, the AAC decision, the behavior barrier - worked out in the hallway
- One clinic, clinic-based. No windshield time, no hauling materials between sites
Paid time off, paid holidays, and sick time
401(k) with a company match on up to 5%
- Health insurance , plus up to 9 free mental-health consultations per year through LifeCare
- Professional liability insurance - covered, not your line item
CEU reimbursement, gym stipend, T-Mobile plan option, and LifeMart discounts
Discretionary profit-sharing bonus program
What You'll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric clients with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Build individualized treatment plans around goals that matter to the kid and the family.
- Send families home with activities they'll actually do - engaging, measurable, and worth the effort.
- Write SOAP notes that carry real data, both the numbers and what you saw.
- Supervise Clinical Fellows and help new clinicians find their footing here.
- Contribute to in-service training, research initiatives, and community and family education.
- Work directly with the OTs, BCBAs, and SLPAs treating the same children.
- Show up for team and company-wide meetings with current, specific updates.
- Supervise SLPAs in line with California's supervision requirements.
- Manage your schedule in CentralReach.
- Work in a way that reflects DV Therapy's core values: Respect, Engaged and Driven, Super Flexible, Proficient, Empathetic, Communicative, Tenacious.
What You'll Need
- Active California SLP license, in good standing
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Ideal candidates have two years (roughly 3,000 hours) of experience as a licensed SLP, but we'd still love to chat with those who don't quite have that yet
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a real asset with our families, but not required
Before your first day
Current CPR certification and a TB test within the past year. If you need either, we'll help you get them - this isn't a screen, it's onboarding.

"I've worked in ABA-only clinics before. Having ST and OT down the hall means I'm learning something new every week, not just from trainings, but from lunch conversations."
- Devin R., BCBA, Santa Fe Springs
"The multidisciplinary setup here means I never feel like I'm guessing in my own silo. If I have a question about a kid's motor planning, the OT is right there, not three referrals away."
- Jordan K., RBT, Palmdale
"I love that leadership actually invests in team building. It's not just a pizza party once a year, it's a whole culture of showing up for each other."
- Selena M., Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, Santa Fe Springs
