RN Wound Care Nurse/Infection Control $7,500 Sign on Bonus

Delmar is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Wound Care Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility team. The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring residents with wounds, skin conditions, and pressure injuries while ensuring the highest quality of care and regulatory compliance.

Monday thru Friday Position

Qualifications

-Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

-Wound care experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred.

-Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

-Perform wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

-Provide wound care treatments and dressing changes as ordered.

-Monitor and document wound healing progress.

-Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.

-Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and skin integrity.

-Ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.

-Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives.
