Job Details

• Schedule: Four 9-hour day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., totaling 36 hours per week, with no weekends and one varying weekday off each week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Fundamentals of Chemotherapy certification; compact nursing license in hand at submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute-care medical-surgical oncology experience and outpatient oncology experience.
• Additional Information:
• Care is provided to adult patients in an outpatient oncology setting with chemotherapy infusion appointments.
• Clinical responsibilities include chemotherapy administration and monitoring, management of ports and central lines, blood and blood product administration, intravenous hydration, phlebotomy, and recognition and communication of abnormal laboratory values.
• The clinic averages approximately 30 visits per day and includes 12 treatment rooms.
• Three of five designated holidays must be worked.
