Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department - This travel nursing assignment supports labor and delivery, postpartum, obstetric triage, antepartum, and normal newborn care. The role includes caring for patients across low- and high-risk settings and performing specialized procedures related to vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care, including newborn care.
• Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), fetal heart monitoring, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Compact nursing license in hand at submission.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
• Patient populations include infants and adults.
• Responsibilities include vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery, operating room circulation, adult intravenous starts, blood and blood product administration, epidural and patient-controlled analgesia pumps, insulin therapy, magnesium sulfate therapy, and care of high-risk antepartum and labor patients.
• Clinical responsibilities include labor and delivery, postpartum, obstetric triage, antepartum care, normal newborn care, couplet care, preoperative and postoperative care, pain assessment and management, isolation precautions, central line maintenance, sterile vaginal examinations, and intrauterine pressure catheter placement and calibration.
• The assignment is scheduled from 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required during the compliance process and before the start date.
