Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current Virginia nursing license verified through the Virginia State Board of Nursing; two years of experience in acute care, home health, hospice, medical-surgical, or geriatric nursing; current Virginia driver’s license and a driving record meeting applicable standards; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides patient care primarily in residences, with services also delivered in long-term care facilities, hospitals, and other care settings. Responsibilities include symptom management, crisis intervention, family education, patient and family rapport, clinical decision-making, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role may involve exposure to infections and bloodborne pathogens.
