Surgical Scheduler

Job Responsibilities: • Schedule all in-patient and out-patient surgical procedures • Coordinate diagnostic testing and external provider referrals • Obtain pre-certifications and ensure all required paperwork is complete • Educate patients on surgical procedures and expectations • Provide referrals to outside sources • Ensure professional and courteous communication in all interactions Job Requirements: • Minimum of two years of medical office experience (Preferred) • Familiarity with medical terminology (Required) • Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills • High attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure • Excellent communication, computer, and telephone skills • Pleasant attitude and professional appearance • High school diploma or equivalent Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: • 401(k) with Company Match • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Life Insurance • Employee Assistance Program Schedule: 8-hour shift / 10-hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person / remote hybrid flexibility available
