Home Health Aide skills and responsibilities may include

• Assisting with personal care and daily routines while protecting each client’s dignity
• Supporting safe mobility, walking, and transfers as directed
• Helping with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping when included in the care plan
• Offering companionship and respectful emotional support
• Following care plans, agency procedures, and client preferences
• Noticing and promptly reporting changes in a client’s condition or needs
• Communicating clearly with clients, families, and the care team
• Completing visit documentation accurately and on time
• Respecting client privacy and maintaining professional boundaries
