Coast TeleDentistry combines the power of technology with our 30+ years of expertise in the dental space to provide virtual dental care services to our patients. Additionally, we partner with insurance companies to provide them with our value-added benefit for their insureds. With innovation and passion, Coast is bringing the safety, efficiency, and affordability of virtual care to dentistry.
WHAT IS TELEDENTISTRY?
Teledentistry is commonly thought of much like telemedicine with live video evaluations or consultations, but synchronous teledentistry can also enrich referrals and provider-to-provider collaborations. With Teledentistry, practices are now operated both traditionally and through technology to increase safety, ease, and efficiency for both sides of the chair. At Coast, we provide virtual examinations using videoconference technology. Our Dentists diagnose cleanings as well as oral health concerns or pain, advise on orthodontic needs, and much more. And, when medically appropriate, our Dentists can write prescriptions (excluding narcotics).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct brief real-time virtual exams
- Complete patient chart notes within the appropriate dental platform
- Review patient medical records, images/ x-rays and screening information to diagnose common issues, recommend treatment plans, and offer second opinions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Actively licensed in Florida and/or Texas dentists.
- A passion and vision for delivering high-quality patient care in a virtual environment.
- Basic use of PC and Windows platforms.
- Ability to use common dentistry software.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
