Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

Charlestown Place at New Albany is hiring a full-time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) for skilled nursing in New Albany, IN at $20.00–$22.50/hour plus credit for experience. You’ll work just 3 days a week on 12-hour day or night shifts. Same-day interviews are available when possible.

Pay: $20.00–$22.50/hour + credit for experience

Job Type: Full-time

Location: New Albany, IN (in person)

Schedule: Full-time, 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts:

• Days: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Nights: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide daily direct care to residents in our skilled nursing facility
• Document medication administration, and watch for and report changes in residents’ condition
• Help with CNA duties and work closely with nursing staff
• Keep the medication cart clean and organized
• Follow facility policies and state regulations
• Support the healthcare team in delivering quality resident care

What You’ll Need

• Active Indiana QMA certification (required). Kentucky-certified medication aides must get Indiana QMA certification by their hire date.
• Willingness and ability to perform CNA duties (required)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1 year of related experience preferred
