Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and specimen collections.
• Complete patient registration in EPIC.
• Process and stabilize laboratory specimens.
• Travel between multiple collection sites to provide staffing coverage for PTO, call-ins, and operational needs.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable and flexible with changing work locations.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• No weekends or holidays
• Holiday coverage rotation as needed
• Various shift times depending on assigned location

Network Reference Lab is the Christian Hospital Laboratory Outreach program for marketing & providing lab services to hospitals, physician offices, clinics & other clients.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG's, etc.
• Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate.
• Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab--including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests.
• Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
• Inventory management, equipment cleaning, maintenance, loading, etc.

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2-5 years

• Associate's Degree

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Phlebotomy
