Job Summary
Provides direct care for Long-Term Care Residents, primarily Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and other care conducive to Residents’ well-being, comfort and safety.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides care and explanation to the Residents according to the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) Care Plan
- Assists with new admits, transfers and discharges
- Communicates with Nursing Department co-workers and other Departments to meet needs of Residents
- Answers Residents’ Call Lights promptly
- Recognizes and responds to verbal and non-verbal communication from Residents
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have and maintain current Nurse Aide Certification in good standing with MS Department of Health, Division of Licensure and Certification
