Job Summary
Avir at Brownwood is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents by administering medications, providing assistance with daily living activities, and promoting a positive and supportive environment. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments to residents as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and record resident vital signs, medication administration, and other essential data
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed
- Participate in family conferences and maintain open communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Perform vital sign checks, weight, and blood pressure monitoring as assigned
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding residents as needed
