Location: Altoona, PA
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Position: Part-Time
At Peace Healthcare Agency is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Homemaker / Chore Worker to provide essential household support and help individuals maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom areas.
- Assist with laundry, changing linens, and organizing household items.
- Help with basic household chores and maintaining a tidy living space.
- Follow the individual's care needs, preferences, and established service plan.
- Maintain professionalism, respect, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail.
- Able to perform routine household cleaning and chores.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Previous homemaker, housekeeping, or caregiving experience is a plus.
- Must meet applicable hiring and agency requirements.
