Aspire Senior living Carthage is a leading long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. Our team is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through individualized therapy programs and compassionate support. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other activities based on resident needs.
• Monitor and document progress, reporting any changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in CPR/AED
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
