Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Cath Lab unit consists of 4 rooms with 1 patient per room, supported by a team of 22 staff members, including RNs and Techs. The unit is equipped with GE rooms and utilizes Meditech and MacLab for documentation. As an RN in this role, you will be involved in critical procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, cerebrovascular angiograms, stenting, and balloon interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Scrub for various cardiac procedures and assist with interventions.
• Contribute to the team by providing a patient-centered focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively with a close-knit team of RNs and Techs.
• Be available for on-call duties and flexible scheduling as required by the unit.

Required Experience

• BLS and ACLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Special Procedures and competence with GE Innova equipment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• ARRT certification is required.
• RCIS certification is preferred.
