About the job
Responsibilities
- Provide on-going guidance to nurses.
- Support with training newly hired nurses and complete annual competencies.
- Reviews active participants clinical records in accordance with Federal, State, and other regulatory agency requirements.
- Reviews charts in order to maintain optimum level care.
- Ensure that healthcare services provided to the patient is delivered according to acceptable standards of practice and company procedures.
- Identifies quality improvement opportunities and assets in resolving those participant care issues that have been repeated or patterned.
- Maintains current knowledge of New York States Department of Health CMS PACE regulations including program discipline when needed.
- Conduct audits of participant clinical records on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with agency policies and PACE regulations.
- Review all initial nursing assessments.
Qualifications
- Current NY State Registered Nurse License
- 3-5 years of experience as a RN manager/supervisor
Education
- Associate Degree
- BSN Preferred
