Job Description

Position: Physical Therapist Assistants

We are looking for caring and motivated Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs ) to join our team in all five Boroughs. Whether you’re an experienced PTA or just starting your career, we are here to support you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist and outlined in the Plan of Care.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, gait, balance, and other therapeutic activities to support rehabilitation and safety.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in home exercises and safe use of assistive devices or techniques.
• Accurately and promptly document all services provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain ongoing communication with the PT to ensure coordinated, effective care.
• Ensure compliance with agency, state, and federal guidelines, including HIPAA and CMS regulations.
• Travel to patient homes/facilities within assigned geographic areas.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and supervisory support as needed.
• All duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure: Current and unrestricted license to practice as a PTA in the State of New York.
• Certification: Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Preferred: Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.
