About the job
Actively Seeking Physician colleague to help revolutionize tribal health
WCHS is in the process of converting to a more effective model of primary care consistent with the best practices of patient centered, relationship centered, proactive, team based primary care. We are early in the journey and are looking for a physician who desires to be a key part of this revolution in practice. We are also starting down a three-year journey to create a rural residency program to train new primary care physicians in this more effective model of care with significant emphasis on culturally appropriate care. We are in the planning phase of a major remodel of our primary care space to create physical space that better supports this integrated model of care.
Our vision is to elevate the health of our community to match or exceed that of any Tribal population in the country. Concurrent and consistent with our advancement of primary care we are in the planning phase of building a 70,000 sq ft wellness center attached to the main campus. We are convinced that the combination of these efforts with excellent acute care and an ongoing culture of innovation and outcomes focus provided in profound partnership with public health and community services will make our vision a reality.
If this sounds like the type of practice you would like to be part of, please contact Human Resources at 402-745-3950. Any door is the right door. We look forward to getting to know you better and to help you know us better as well.
