Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home support to clients in Waterford, MI. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of individuals by assisting with personal care and daily living activities in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide support with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Monitor client's condition and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, promoting client independence and dignity.
• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role is an advantage.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward clients.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Waterford, MI.
• MUST pass background check.
