About the job
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Caregivers to provide personalized in-home care services to clients in Saint Clair, MI. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers safely
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients’ health status
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervising staff
- Document care activities and report any changes in clients’ condition
Requirements
- Experience in home health care or similar direct care role is a plus
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established care plans
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients’ needs
- Pass background check
