About the job

CNAs: Turn Your Afternoons Into a Second Career as a Behavior Technician

Your CNA shift ends at 3. Your next career starts at 4.

Every day, you handle patients who get agitated, confused, or refuse care. You stay calm. You redirect. You build trust. You chart everything.

That is behavior work. You are already doing it.

At United Care ABA , we turn that experience into a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a Behavior Technician (BT) , you'll work one on one with children with autism, following a treatment plan designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You help a child communicate, handle frustration, and build everyday skills. And we'll help you become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) .

Work your 7 to 3 and do this in the afternoon. Or make the full switch. Your call.

What You Get

  • Afternoon, evening and weekend hours that fit around your CNA shift
  • Paid hands-on training. No ABA experience needed
  • Guided support to earn your RBT certification
  • Ongoing support from experienced BCBAs
  • Scholarships toward becoming a BCBA for our top Behavior Technicians
  • Paid time off and benefits for eligible full-time employees

What We're Looking For

  • CNA experience
  • A genuine love for working with children
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to earn RBT certification within your first few months (required)
  • Reliable, patient, and professional
  • Available weekday afternoons and evenings

Work Available In: Denver and all across Colorado

Apply today. Your CNA experience counts here.
