POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant who takes real pride in keeping a room - and a day - running like clockwork. You'll work chairside with our dentist and clinical team delivering high-quality patient care, in an environment that notices and appreciates the difference a great assistant makes.

Office Hours:

Monday 8am-5pm

Tuesday 8am-5pm

Wednesday 8am-5pm

Thursday 9am-3pm

Friday

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Support

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, including preparation and instrument support
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials ahead of every appointment
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with regulations
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per infection-control protocol
• Prepare impressions, models, and temporary restorations as needed

Patient Care

• Welcome patients and get them comfortably ready for treatment
• Review medical histories and keep patient records current
• Provide clear post-operative instructions and patient education
• Keep patients at ease and address concerns throughout the visit

Administrative & Office Support

• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes
• Manage inventory and keep dental supplies stocked and ready
• Support full compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental regulations

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an in-person, hands-on clinical role at our practice, with occasional standing, bending, and lifting of dental equipment.

Requirements

Required

• X-ray certification
• Previous clinical experience in a dental setting

Preferred

• Experience with Dentrix is a plus
