The Next Chapter is a family-owned, concierge home care agency in Chandler serving the East Valley and parts of Pinal County. We don’t fill shifts. We build long-term matches between caregivers and clients, so you get to know the same families and build real rapport instead of rotating through a different home every week.

How we match

Most agencies move caregivers between a changing set of homes each week. We take time to match on both sides, looking at skill and experience, but also personality and fit. Our goal is a lasting match where the caregiver and client build trust over months and years. We don’t do “revolving door caregiving.”

The work

Our clients range from early-stage, near-companionship needs to advanced dementia and hospice. We specialize in dementia, Alzheimer’s, and end-of-life care, and we prepare our caregivers for it. Experience with bed-bound clients or equipment like Hoyer lifts is a plus, but not required for every role. If you bring solid caregiving experience (in-home preferred), a professional approach and desire to learn, we can train on the rest when it’s the right fit.

Your day may include ADL support (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility), companionship and meaningful enrichment and social activities, light housekeeping and meal prep, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments and outings.

Pay and growth

• Base pay by total caregiving experience (home care, SNF, assisted living, hospital, and more)
• +$0.50/hr for an active CNA license
• +$0.50/hr for dementia care certification, which we help you complete within your first 90 days
• Performance-based raise of up to $1/hr at your 90-day review
• Attendance bonuses begin after your first 90 days: $100 your first qualifying quarter, rising to $250 with consecutive perfect-attendance quarters
• Referral bonus: $50 when your referral starts working, plus $100 at their 90-day mark

Must haves

• Prior caregiving experience, formal or informal (formal agency or private client in-home highly preferred)
• Caregiving certification or CNA license before client assignment (highly experienced caregivers without one can get certified through TNC)
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
• Background check, drug screen, DMV check, and negative TB test (Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred)
• Two professional references
