Sunnyview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about helping residents move safely and live more independently.
Role Overview
The PTA will provide skilled therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and contribute to individualized resident care plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments and functional interventions.
- Assist residents with mobility, exercise, balance, transfers, and ambulation.
- Track resident progress and report relevant findings to the supervising therapist.
- Document treatment services in a complete and timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation and nursing teams.
Qualifications
- Current PTA license or eligibility to practice in the applicable state.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and resident-service skills.
