Job Summary
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) located within the Edgewood Hospital.
Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA), Surgical Intensive Care Unit, 20 Bed Unit
Shift/Hours: Full Time – 60 hours biweekly, 7A-7P

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN:
- Assists patients with activities of daily living
- Provides patients personal care and comfort
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
Qualifications
Education, Credentials, Licenses
- Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
- Must have CPR for the professional rescuer
Specialized Knowledge
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.

- Successful work employment history.
