Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a state‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong patience, empathy, and compassion
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
As a Restorative CNA, you will
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Serve meals and assist residents with eating and drinking as needed
- Reposition and turn bedridden residents and assist with ambulation or wheelchair transport
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident rooms; change bed linens and bedpans as needed
- Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and daily observations
- Monitor residents’ behavior, mood, and general condition, reporting significant changes to nursing staff
- Transport medical equipment as required
