About the job
Performs technical support of all Retail Pharmacy services and will effectively function within all areas of Retail Pharmacy operations. This will include interpreting and entering P hysician orders / prescriptions, utilizing pharmacy software and point of sale applications, perform insurance billing / crediting functions, manage drug inventory and distribution, be able to problem-solve, communicate effectively with patients and assist the Pharmacist as needed.
Minimum Education
- High School diploma
Minimum Work Experience
- Two years recent retail pharmacy experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to utilize personal vehicle for work related travel.
- Demonstrated logic and critical thinking for problem resolution.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruption.
- Detail Oriented.
- Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
Pay Range: $19.97 - $29.09
COMPETITIVE DIFFERENTIALS RATES
- $4.25 - Evenings
- $8.00 - Nights
- $4.75 - Weekends
