RN Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid, active state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Compliance with state background check requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
Your Responsibilities as an RN
- Oversee and direct nursing staff, including LPNs and nursing assistants.
- Assess residents' health conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor residents' conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
- Complete accurate resident documentation, assessments, and clinical charting.
- Conduct daily rounds and prioritize resident care.
- Coordinate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.
- Ensure compliance with applicable nursing standards, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.
