About the Role
Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, resident-centered environment where your nursing skills and commitment to quality care are valued every day.
We are looking for a nurse who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality care and supporting positive outcomes for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and clinical leadership
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with facility policies
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report any changes to the RN
- Perform routine clinical duties including vital signs, wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Reinforce resident and family education as directed by the RN
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation
- Support individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being
What We’re Looking For
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Strong clinical observation, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced long-term care environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to resident-centered care
