Responsibilities
The home health Department Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely employee and patient medical records in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements, compiling reports required and entering data accurately and timely to complete payroll responsibilities, assuring that office and patient medical supplies are adequately stocked and general oversight of remote patient monitoring equipment maintenance. Able to represent the agency in as a positive first contact as the receptionist for the agency.
Qualifications
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Work Experience
- 1 year of data entry or secretarial experience, preferably in a health care setting Required
- Experience with medical records administration, billing, or claims follow up Preferred
