Olympic View Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their lives.
About the Role
As an LVN at Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) , your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care under the supervision of our nursing team, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
- Participating in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to the next level of care
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
Requirements
- Current LVN licensure
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
