About the job
We are looking for a organized, reliable, and people-friendly administrative professional to serve as the central point of contact for all back-office and front-desk operations in our therapy practice. This role is essential to keeping the practice running smoothly behind the scenes and supporting our clinical team, families, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Authorizations & Insurance Support
- Manage therapy authorizations across payers (including Medicaid/MCOs and other plans)
- Track authorization start/end dates and visit limits
- Submit authorization requests and follow up as needed
- Communicate authorization status to clinicians and leadership
- Flag potential gaps or expirations proactively
Front Desk & Client Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for families, therapists, and corporate
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally and warmly
- Support intake, scheduling coordination, and basic client inquiries.
Prioritizing applicants with prior healthcare experience.
