We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing in Morristown, New Jersey. As part of our award-winning rehabilitation and nursing center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) at Morristown Post Acute, you will assist in providing a range of therapies to help our residents achieve their maximum potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Conducting occupational therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Adapting and modifying treatment plans as needed to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program or related field (n/a)
- Completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution (n/a)
- Current OTA certification in New Jersey (n/a)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an OTA (n/a)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
