Our Crane's Mill 5 star community has an opening for a per diem (as needed) Physical Therapist! This position offers $65/hour with flexible scheduling!

In this role, you will

• Performs and documents an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. Reviews physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical therapy treatment required.
• Plans, prepares, or carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
• Administers manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.
• Tests and measures patient's strength, motor development and function, sensory perception, functional capacity, or respiratory or circulatory efficiency and record data.
• Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.

Education/Training/Certifications: Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by one of the following: The American Physical Therapy Association; The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association; The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.

Current Physical Therapist state license

Skill(s): Excellent verbal and written communication, service orientation, critical thinking, instructing, listening & time management.

Experience: Minimum 2 years practicing as Physical Therapist; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
