What You’ll Do
As a Travel RN, you will provide direct resident care and serve as the clinical leader for your assigned shift. Responsibilities include:
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring and documenting changes in resident condition
- Supervising CNAs, CMAs/QMAs, and other assigned nursing staff
- Communicating with physicians, families, and facility leadership
- Supporting admissions, transfers, wound care, and emergency response
- Ensuring care is delivered safely and according to resident care plans
What You’ll Need
- Current, unencumbered Iowa RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different facility environments
Long-term care, skilled nursing, or Charge Nurse experience is preferred but not required.
