About the job
Job Description: Vivo Healthcare Lakeland is looking to hire full-time/part time, Wound Care Nurse (RN) to work at our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse (RN)
- Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
- Participate in the maintenance and implementation of the Facility’s quality assurance program for the Nursing Services Department.
- Provide wound care to residents and document
- Round with wound care physician
- Update wound reports
Requirements of the Wound Care Nurse
- Long Term Care experience is highly preferred.
- Wound Care certification preferred.
- Must be a graduate of an approved nursing or practical nursing program.
- Must possess and maintain a current Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must be able to move, lift, and position patients.
- Valid CPR from the American Heart Association
