About the job
At Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers, we're looking for an experienced Front Office Lead at our Goodyear location who thrives in a team-focused environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience. If you're a strong leader who enjoys mentoring staff, coordinating daily operations, and supporting patients throughout their cancer care journey, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support front office operations, including check-in, check-out, scheduling, and patient flow
- Coordinate daily staffing coverage and ensure cross-training across the team
- Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development of front office staff
- Partner with the Office Manager on audits, process improvements, team meetings, and operational initiatives
- Serve as the first point of contact for front office patient and staff concerns
- Monitor front office communications, workflow completion, and patient satisfaction
- Help maintain a professional, positive, and service-focused team culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical office experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Oncology experience preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical office workflows
- Knowledge of insurance processes, HIPAA, and healthcare operations preferred
