Location: Williamsport, and surrounding area!

Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour base rate, $50-$70 per visit (different rates for evaluations, starts of care, discharges, resumption of care, recertification visits)

At Interim HealthCare we are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) in Williamsport and surrounding areas to join our compassionate team. You’ll provide essential therapy services that help patients overcome physical impairments and regain independence - all from the comfort of their own homes.

Essential Functions

• Deliver expert physical therapy on individualized care plans
• Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments to monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes.
• Regularly assess patient status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate and counsel patients and families to promote understanding with treatment goals.
• Document clinical findings and treatment progress accurately and timely.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

• Current license as a Physical Therapist in PA
• Preferred: At least two years of relevant experience within the last five years.
• A heart for patient-centered care
• Reliable transportation
• CPR Certification

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient with computer applications and documentation systems.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.

Working Conditions

• Travel within the geographic area serviced by the office is required.
• Work is primarily conducted in residential settings or facilities.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transferring patients.
