Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available (Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN Opportunities)
Pay: $12.77-$17 hourly (dependent on client type)
Job Overview
We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants – CNA / Nursing Assistants – NA to provide one-on-one care for patients in their homes throughout Martinsville, VA and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for caregivers seeking flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients’ daily lives.
As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA / Nursing Assistant – NA , you will assist patients with daily living activities while working closely with a supportive home health team to ensure quality patient care. This role requires travel to patient homes throughout the service area.
Responsibilities of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA / Nursing Assistant – NA
- Provide direct patient care in the home setting
- Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and nutritional intake
- Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Monitor and document vitals, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
- Support patients with chronic illness, injury, or mobility challenges
- Follow individualized patient care plans and communicate with the care team
- Observe patient concerns and report changes requiring additional care or intervention
Qualifications of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA / Nursing Assistant – NA
- Active CNA certification in the state of Virginia
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification and TB screening
- Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
