Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at our Daytona Beach, Florida facility.
About the Role
As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant , you will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in administering a wide range of physical therapy interventions to patients with various diagnoses. Your expertise will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, improving their overall quality of life. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in conducting patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and exercise programs
- Implement and progress patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Provide patient education on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and injury prevention strategies
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility policies and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients
