Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive gynecologic evaluations and annual well-woman examinations
• Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions
• Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice
• Provide patient education regarding preventive care, contraception, menopause management, and reproductive health
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EMR
• Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current California Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for licensure
• National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP)
• DEA certification or eligibility
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

• Prior experience in Women's Health, Gynecology, or OB/GYN practice
• Experience performing gynecologic procedures
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
