About the job

Rehab Technician – Innovate Physical Therapy

Location: Bellevue, NEService Line: Innovate Physical TherapySchedule: Casual

Innovate Physical Therapy is looking for an energetic, dependable, and people-focused Rehab Technician to join our outpatient therapy team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working closely with patients, and being part of a clinical environment where no two days look exactly the same. As a Rehab Technician, you will support therapists, help patients through exercises and treatment activities, and keep the clinic organized and running smoothly.

At Hillcrest, our mission is simple: Inspiring people to live their best lives. In this role, you will help bring that mission to life by supporting patients throughout their therapy experience and helping create a welcoming, organized, and positive clinic environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Rehab Technician, you will work side by side with therapists and administrative team members to support both patient care and the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

You will:

Greet patients and help create a welcoming first impression.

Prepare patients for therapy treatments.

Assist therapists during treatment sessions.

Support patients as they complete exercises and functional activities under the direction of licensed clinical staff.

Help motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation.

Provide routine non-skilled treatments as directed.

Assist with hot and cold packs and other treatment modalities as directed by professional staff.

Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment between patients.

Help ensure laundry and treatment supplies are available and ready for use.

Maintain clean and stocked clinic areas, including restrooms and common spaces.

Monitor supply and equipment inventory and help reorder items as needed.

Communicate patient concerns or changes promptly to therapists and other team members.

Assist with answering phones and scheduling appointments.

Help maintain clinic paperwork and supply records.

Assist with medical-record requests and other administrative tasks.

Support correspondence with physicians and referral sources regarding patient progress.

Jump in wherever needed to help the clinic run smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, and comfortable moving between patient care and administrative responsibilities throughout the day.

The right candidate will enjoy working with people, stay positive in a busy environment, and understand that the little things - having equipment ready, keeping the clinic organized, encouraging a patient through one more exercise - can make a big difference.

Ideal candidates will have:

A friendly and welcoming personality.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Dependability and consistent follow-through.

Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail.

Comfort working directly with patients.

Ability to take direction from therapists and clinical staff.

A positive, encouraging approach when supporting patients.

Willingness to help with both clinical and administrative tasks.

Strong teamwork skills.

Comfort using technology and basic office systems.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Technician experience preferred.

Previous experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, fitness, sports medicine, customer service, or a similar setting may be helpful.

Why Innovate Physical Therapy?

Rehabilitation is about progress - and you get to be part of it.

You may be helping a patient get set up for treatment, encouraging someone through an exercise program, assisting a therapist, preparing equipment, or making sure the clinic is ready for the next patient.

It is an active role with plenty of variety and interaction throughout the day.

If you are interested in physical therapy, rehabilitation, healthcare, exercise science, or a future clinical career, this is also a great opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the therapy environment while learning from experienced clinicians.

What Hillcrest Offers

Supportive therapy leadership and a collaborative clinical team.

Benefits and insurance options for eligible team members.

Professional development and career-growth opportunities.

Dayforce Wallet, allowing you to choose when you get paid.

Must follow established infection-control standards, policies, and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
