POSITION SUMMARY
The Triage & Prescription Refill Nurse (RN) manages incoming patient calls from individuals seeking medical information or medical attention. This role includes scheduling appointments based on the patient’s condition, answering questions, and providing limited health education. The nurse also monitors provider desktops for those who are out of the office and triages materials as needed. In addition, they initiate electronic prescription refills and order labs or follow‑up visits required for medication monitoring and adherence.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program, required
Current state licensure, required
At least two (2) years of clinical experience, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Composure in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
Dependable, punctual, and highly detail‑oriented
Strong multitasking and independent‑work capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Accurate documentation skills
Ability to follow established workflows consistently
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
