About Us – Process/Recovery

• Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West.
• We are a fast-paced department that provides exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical journey- from preoperative preparation to post-anesthesia recovery.
• Our team supports a wide range of surgical and endoscopy procedures offering exposure to diverse specialties and a collaborative, high energy environment.

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours per week

What You'll Do

Under the direction of professional RNs, systematically and continually assesses the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.

Requirements

• Must obtain a Missouri Registered Nurse License or Registered Nurse License from a compact state within ninety (90) days after graduation or thirty (30) days after passing the NCLEX Exam in a state other than Missouri. If obtaining a compact license it must be held in the Registered Nurse's state of residence.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.
• Perioperative RN Competency Day annually by transcript due date.
