What You'll Do
As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while providing compassionate, professional care to patients.
Responsibilities include
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered.
- Operate portable radiographic equipment when needed.
- Apply your knowledge and technical expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients .
- Follow infection-control practices and Universal Precautions.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and technical skill in all areas of Diagnostic Radiology.
Qualifications
Required
- Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program through an AMA-approved school or an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology .
- Broad educational background in Diagnostic Radiology.
Preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in related radiology fields.
