NOW HIRING: BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to oversee the daily business and administrative operations of our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Office
• Manage Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private-pay billing
• Handle billing, collections, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Verify insurance and financial information for new admissions
• Maintain accurate census and resident financial records
• Assist with Medicaid applications and eligibility documentation
• Process and follow up on billing claims and corrections
• Maintain resident trust accounts and financial records
• Prepare reports and provide financial information to facility leadership
• Work closely with the Administrator, Admissions, Nursing, and other departments
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and financial information

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Business Office Manager, Business Office Coordinator, Billing Manager, or similar role
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance billing, and collections
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing/accounting systems
• High school diploma required; college or business/accounting coursework preferred
